Yellow September: lecture on self-worth closes activities at Prati-Donaduzzi

Talking about self-worth and self-esteem, Prati-Donaduzzi employees participated on Wednesday (18) in the last lecture of the allusive schedule to the yellow September. Holistic therapist, Selma Cavalli Fernandes, conducted the activity.

The actions that began on Monday (16) and extended until Wednesday (18), worked on themes such as 'Anxiety and Depression' and 'Life Valuation'. Yellow September is a national campaign, started in 2015, that puts suicide prevention on discussion. The initiative comes from Life Valorization Center (CVV), Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (ABP). This year, Prati-Donaduzzi worked on the issue for the first time.

Human and Organizational Development Supervisor, Aline Gorris, said more than 300 employees attended the lectures. According to her, everything was thought and organized in order to provide guidance. “We aimed to talk about the positive and the appreciation of life. If something is bothering you, you should look for help. We were pleased with everyone's participation. They certainly learned about it. ”

Selma has done various activities to understand that self-worth should be highly valued. “We should love and embrace people because the present moment is a gift in our lives. Love and take care of yourself”, she told participants.

The employees enjoyed the moment. In pairs, they were guided by the lecturer to reflect on life and give importance to the people around them, among other topics. In the end, everyone hugged each other. “It's good to receive love. Embrace and show this”, concluded the therapist.

Caroline Fabris works at the company's Process Office and participated in the lecture cycle. She revealed that she has learned a lot and that the acquired knowledge will be disseminated to the people in her life. “It is interesting to know what the help channels are. I am glad the company is concerned to talk about the topic with its employees. I made a point of participating. ”
