Saturday is the day of “Live Better” at Toledo Municipal Lake. Prati-Donaduzzi, in partnership with RPC, promotes this Saturday (26) the first edition of "Live Better", which takes place from 4p.m to 7p.m.

The event aims to promote health, well-being, and fun and make the population aware of the importance of having a healthy life. There will be attractions for the whole family. “Our proposal is to bring some fun and knowledge about the company's projects to Toledo´s community”, said Prati-Donaduzzi Marketing Manager, Lucas Angnes.

According to RPC programming, this will be the first event of this type in the region, but the proposal is to take it to other municipalities. The action aims to encourage the community to lead a full and balanced life by following a balanced diet, practicing physical activities and consuming less manufactured products.

Those who pass by the lake on Saturday afternoon can measure blood pressure, blood sugar and bioimpedance, which is a procedure that measures body composition (fat, mass, water, etc.). They will also receive, with the use of the “mama amiga”, guidance on the importance of preventing breast cancer and prostate cancer within the Pink October and Blue November Activities.

About 30% of all cancers are diagnosed in the female population, whereas prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men in Brazil, staying behind only skin cancer. In 2018, 68,220 new cases were registered.

In this period of increased measles cases in the country, during the event, parents will be able to update the vaccination portfolio of small children. According to the latest Ministry of Health epidemiological bulletin on measles, 6,640 cases and 6 deaths were confirmed from January to October.

Prati-Donaduzzi will also bring Sensilatte, which is a lactose intolerant product, to the event. Those Interested in learning more about the product, its differentials, and even trying it, can take the advantage of the event for it.
