Prati-Donaduzzi laboratory process efficiency to be presented in Singapore

Care for product quality and laboratory process efficiency of Prati-Donaduzzi, Brazil's largest producer of generic drugs, will be presented at the seventh edition of Shimadzu Global Innovation Summit 2019, which starts on Wednesday (13) in Singapore. .

This is the first time a South American pharmaceutical industry is invited to attend the event.

The conference is expected to be attended by around 200 health experts from countries in Asia, the US and Europe, including industry decision makers and research leaders. The Director of Quality Systems, Luciano Rosado and the manager of Analytical R&D, Marcelo Karnal, will represent the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry.

The 7th edition of Shimadzu Global Innovation Summit will discuss emerging health care models and new analytical technologies, as well as the role the innovation and generic pharmacy will play in the coming years in achieving cost-effective health care.

According to Rosado, Prati can maintain its products with the highest quality because everything is developed with a lot of technological innovation. All drugs are audited and approved to the highest quality standards from manufacturing to launch.

“At Prati-Donaduzzi, we use the most sophisticated technological processes, combining scientific knowledge with efficiency and cost effectiveness. The discovery of a new drug, for example, involves high multiphase, complex and dynamic processes and, therefore, significant investment and strong focus are required”, he said.

 Rosado emphasized that the company has been growing and is consolidated as the largest producer of generic drugs in the country because it is based on a constant improvement of processes.
