With the support of Prati-Donaduzzi, Christmas spirit has already begun in Toledo. The main streets of the municipality are gaining special lighting. There will be thousands of spotlights, hoses, lamps, garlands, luminous trees and LED waterfall lights.

The main attraction will be at Willy Barth Square, which is located in the center of the town, where Santa Claus house and a series of Christmas icons are being set up.

The pharmaceutical industry is one of the partners of Toledo Magical Christmas, through the Culture Incentive Law.

According to Prati-Donaduzzi Marketing Manager, Lucas Angnes, the company has been supporting this event for many years. The goal is to offer some magic and awaken the Christmas spirit in people. “We are from Toledo and our role is to contribute to a more prosperous and humane city”, he said.

Santa Claus House

In the middle of the square, there will be one of the most awaited spaces by children, the Santa Claus House, which will be followed with elves and other icons that remind the most anticipated time of the year.

A Christmas crib and a giant walk-through bauble ball will be another attraction for those passing through the square. A stage for cultural performances will also be part of the village where the most charismatic Christmas figure lives. Throughout the month, Santa claus and his assistants will receive the children's letters. For sure, they will be ready to take that special photo.

This week, Christmas decorations are being set up at Willy Barth Square, Diva Paim Barth Ecological Park, and Largo São Vicente de Paulo Avenue. In the coming days, they will go to Tiradentes Avenue, Maripá Avenue, Barão do Rio Branco portals, the clock and some surrounding poles. Vila Pioneira Bus station, which is opposite Lauri Simon gymnasium, will also receive decorations.

The lights will be on and Santa Claus will come on November 29 at 8:30pm. “As in previous years, Santa will rappel down from the Cathedral tower. It is one of the most expected moments for the community”, said Marcel Sarturi, manager of Toledo Trade and Business Association (ACIT).

“Christmas is one of the most important dates of the year, both for retailers and for those who enjoy the holidays. We want to make the city bright and beautiful”, explained Economic Development Secretary, Jozimar Polasso.

The shops will have special service hours, until 10pm, after December 16.

Magical Christmas Event is the result of a partnership between Toledo City Hall, ACIT, Prati-Donaduzzi and other companies in the city.
