New opportunities and even destinations are part of the lives of many college students. Change is the word for those who find in an undergraduate degree the opportunity for a better future and are looking for insertion in the job market.
In addition to changing, facing challenges is a necessary item in the baggage on this journey in search of knowledge. Thus, 65 students make Toledo their new home in the coming days and Prati-Donaduzzi a new place to study and learn. They form the Holiday Internship group offered by the pharmaceutical industry.
The interns arrived at the company on January 8 and they will stay until February 6. They are from Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology, and Industrial Chemistry courses. These young people come from various cities of the country.
In the backpack
Maryá Fusinato is a student of Pharmacy course at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and brought in her backpack the desire to learn. “I have been watching Prati for a long time for the work it does. The internship was a possibility that I found to know even more about the company. It is a moment of knowledge exchange. I hope to complete this stage and maybe I can come back soon in a new chance”.
The main objective of this program is to promote the development of the interns through the knowledge on the pharmaceutical industry. It also becomes a talent attraction tool as Prati also offers the required internship and several job openings for people with these backgrounds.
In this learning trip during the holidays, the young people participate in various activities, such as lectures, visits to the main departments and project development, which will be presented at the end of the internship. During this period, Prati offers students a grant.
Shaping the future
Internship Program manager, Denize Polla, explains that the program highlights the company's values by contributing to human development. “Our internship has a unique format and promoting the growth of these young people is motivating. Up ahead, seeing them working at Prati-Donaduzzi as analysts, researchers or in management positions will be an accomplishment. I therefore believe that the purpose of the program is fulfilled”, she concludes.
