The strength of a company can be measured by several factors, such as growth, financial stability, social responsibility, actions for the future and sustainability. Investments in all these fronts in addition to its own management model focused on human development led to Prati-Donaduzzi to win significant growth in rankings organized by renowned institutions.
One of these awards is the Guia Época Negócios 360ª which has its methodology formulation, field research and information processing coordinated by Fundação Dom Cabral.
In this year’s edition Prati-Donaduzzi showed significant growth climbing 19 positions in the ranking of the 250 largest companies - moving from 38th to 19th place. “This result reflects all the work done in the 22 year history based on quality and ethics and always valuing people and their dreams and stories,” says Eder Fernando Maffissoni, VP of Prati-Donaduzzi.
At the pharmaceutical industry top ranking Prati-Donaduzzi won second place. If divided by region of the 250 largest companies according to the ranking 46 are in the South and the company is placed in fourth. For Eder this growth is related to the appreciation of innovation, quality and ongoing improvement. “One of the strongest traits of Prati-Donaduzzi - and that got where we are - is to always do our best. This trait was strongly present at the company's founding and remained a part of our culture.”
Quality
The company was present among the top five in all six items evaluated: Financial Performance, Corporate Governance, Innovation Capability, Social and Environmental Responsibility, Future Vision, and Human Resources Practices. “We know we are on track when we see these positive results, because we are a company that works based on the pillars of ethics and transparency, we encourage innovation and we keep the entrepreneurial vision with bold plans for the future. But it is because we have people bringing all of our projects forward that we have strong HR policies as part of our strategy” emphasizes Eder.
These highlights further strengthen the presence of Prati-Donaduzzi as the largest generic drugs company in Brazil, with a strong presence in all Brazilian states. “We have just received an inspection of ANVISA that had an excellent result and attested to the quality of our people, products and processes. These achievements are what motivate us to take on new challenges, such as internationalization,” he concludes.
