The activities are taught through theoretical and practical classes, always  on a ludic way.
Since the beginning, in 2014, the project has already assisted over 350 students, and for 2016, 6 groups are planned (4th/5th grades, 6th and 7th grades and 8th/9th grades/1st – High School, two of them are in progress.
On 10 meetings of 3 hours each, two times a week, the students take part in the project on counter-round school. The activities are carried out in extracurricular design in specific Science laboratory – located at Uniprati – Corporate University, by aiming to teach Science in an innovative way. After the end of the course, they get a certificate. The student Isabella Cristina Secchi loved the experience of making syrup in the last meeting. “I liked to make syrup. If I had not learned here, I would not have had this opportunity anywhere else”, she says. For Júlia Isabela dos Reis Ferreira, participating in the Universo das Ciências provides a differential learning at school. “I have learned experiences I´ve always wanted to make at school. I liked all the topics the teacher approached”, she says. The participant Cauê Seibert emphasizes that it is a privilege to take part in a project team and to have this experience for the future.
The program also provides the appreciation of team work, ideas, new horizons and experiences which make part of the scientific universe. In addition, the participants have the opportunity of knowing Prati-Donaduzzi – one of the largest pharmaceutical industries in Brazil. By being in contact with the project, they also get to know the workplace of their parents and relatives.

The “Universo das Ciências” instructor, Michely Almeida, emphasizes that the aim is to repeat the success the project reached in the other editions. “We have made an adequacy in the groups in order to assist each age range. This year, we have as news the participation of students of 6th and 7th grades of Elementary School. We are encouraging the learning and enhancing the education basis for when the students get to the 2nd and 3rd grade of High School”, she points out.
According to Prati-Donaduzzi Corporate University (Uniprati) manager, Rubia Pörsch, “Universo das Ciências” is a program that aims to arouse the interest of teenagers and young people in scientific research. “ The activities, developed in 10 meetings, encourage the students to notice the importance of sciences day by day, and thus, make them know the applicability of everything theY learn. Thus, we aim to encourage the study and, consequently, the interest in working with research and innovation”, she justifies.
